SHADOW VEIL
瞼の裏側。
目を閉じたとき、瞼の裏側に現れるキラキラとした模様。それは光の残像であり、記憶の揺らぎでもある。この作品では、一度描かれた色やかたちを、黒いボンドで覆い、あえて見えなくしている。隠すことで失われるのではなく、閉じ込められる美がある。完全に闇へ沈んだはずの奥に、確かに存在し続ける輝き。その「見えないはずの美」を想像する行為そのものが、作品の一部となる。
When the eyes are closed, shimmering patterns appear behind the eyelids—traces of light and fragments of memory. In this work, colors and forms once painted are deliberately covered with black bond, rendered invisible. Yet beauty is not erased; it is sealed within. Beneath the darkness, a quiet brilliance continues to exist. This piece invites the viewer to imagine the hidden beauty that remains unseen, making the act of perception itself part of the artwork.
